Penkridge Market is a long established traditional open stall market held twice a week all year round
The market regularly hosts over 100 stalls. We have many regular traders who have a long history of providing our customers with a wide variety of goods. Every week we also host a number of casual traders bringing a constant supply of new and unusual goods so you never know what you might find!
Whats On
Fine Food and Craft Market - 20th April
On the third Saturday of every month we host the Penkridge Fine Food and Craft Market in conjuction with our normal stall market. It is the perfect opportunity to seek out high quality foods and crafts.
Bank Holiday Market & Car Boot Sale - 6th May
Special Monday market and Car Boot Sale with a wide variety of stalls as well as car booters with a huge aray of bargains.
Dog Training - Every Wednesday & Sunday Evening
K9 Training Services have recently moved to the market site and offer classes every Wednesday (from 6:45pm) and Sunday (from 5pm) to cater for all levels of experience click here to find out more
New Initiative for Penkridge Businesses…
Penkridge Markets has launched a new initiative to help local businesses in 2012. We are offering any business in the Parish of Penkridge the opportunity to take a free stall on the Market, for one day, to help promote your business and reach new customers.
Market Research has shown that the Market attracts up to 5,000 people every Market day, from around the Region, including people from as far as Telford, Stoke and Walsall. It is therefore bringing new customers into the area, who may not be aware of all the local businesses in Penkridge itself.
We are offering local businesses a 10 foot pitch on the Market on either a Wednesday or a Saturday. Each business can use the pitch for one day, per year, on a first come first served basis.
The pitch can be used to sell your products or to simply promote your business by handing out leaflets, running a competition or raising money for charity. If you do not have the necessary equipment the Market will even provide a table and a gazebo.

How to Find Us
From South leave M6 at Junction 12. Head west along A5, 1 mile towards Telford. At island junction with A449 turn North towards Penkridge. Penkridge Market is on left hand side immediately before the River Penk.
From North leave M6 at Junction 13. Head South along A449 towards Penkridge. Penkridge Market is on right hand side immediately over the river.
By Barge The market is just 5 minutes walk from bridge 86 on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal

The main car park is accessed off the A449
We have an overflow car park accessed from Pinfold Lane (just after the railway bridge).
Parking is free every market day
Market Cafe
The Old Deanery Farm Cafe is open every market day and offers a varied menu. It is the perfect place to take a break from the shopping so why not stop off for lunch.
